Training Camp 2025

Training Camp for the 2025 season gets under way this Wednesday, April 2 at Darlington Arena

Two tryout sessions on April 2 and April 5 will be followed by two split squad exhibition games on April 6 at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex giving the Gaels coaching staff ample opportunity to evaluate players and make decisions ahead of the 2025 season.

The cost to attend Training Camp is $25. Players are guaranteed to attend both tryout dates. The two exhibition games will be by invitation with selected players being notified following the tryout session on Saturday, April 5.

Attendees must be registered through the OLA web site. No player will be allowed on the floor without proper OLA documentation. Players should use the following link (https://www.sportzsoft.com/regApp/Login?OrgId=6860) to register.

Any players who live outside the boundaries of Clarington, Oshawa, or Whitby, or whose closest Junior B team is not the Green Gaels, will need to provide written permission to run from their home center in order to attend the Green Gaels Training Camp.

Not only will coaches from the Green Gaels Junior Lacrosse Club be evaluating players for selection for the 2025 team, but members of the Clarington Shamrox Junior C team and Whitby Warriors Junior C team will be present evaluating players ahead of their tryouts which will take place in the coming weeks. It is also our understanding that Clarington Minor Lacrosse, Oshawa Minor Lacrosse, and Whitby Minor Lacrosse are intending on fielding U22 teams this season providing ample opportunities for players in Durham Region to play lacrosse beyond U17.
